The Supreme Court rejected requests to extend the deadline for uploading Waqf property data on the UMEED portal under the 2025 amendments. IIT-Kanpur has launched MANAS, a city-wide air-quality network in Mumbai, adding 75 solar-powered mini monitoring units to the existing 30 sensors. The MMRDA has started constructing the 13.9 km Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension, a six?lane elevated corridor linking Anand Nagar in Thane to Chheda Nagar in Ghatkopar.
