DMRC completes complex Pulbangash tunnel work under Red Line without affecting services

DMRC recently completed tunnelling work beneath the operational Red Line at Pulbangash as part of the Magenta Line extension between Janakpuri West and RK Ashram Marg. The team carried out the activity below an elevated viaduct with open foundations, which required detailed planning and ground-strengthening. Engineers used the TAM grouting method with around 180 boreholes to stabilise the pier area, supported by continuous monitoring systems. Patna Metro set for next launch phase with 6.5 km stretch close to commissioning

RITES receives CEAI award for innovation and sustainability in the USBRL rail project

RITES has received the CEAI National Award for Engineering Innovation and Sustainability for its work on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Line (USBRL). The company managed alignment design, surveys and bridge design for 20 bridges along the 272-km route. It also completed technical audits for 25 bridges, including the Chenab Bridge and Anji Khad Bridge, and installed structural health monitoring systems on two major bridges.
