A revised traffic plan has been put in place on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway to maintain two-way movement while construction on the Ramban flyover continues. Dum Dum Cantonment Metro station has become an important interchange point after Eastern Railway introduced a new suburban service to Bangaon and extended the Hasnabad-Barasat local to this station.
