Centre clears salt pan land for Dahisar-Bhayandar Link Road project

The Union government has leased 53.17 acres of salt pan land to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on a 99-year lease worth INR 12.9 crore for the Dahisar-Bhayandar Link Road (DBLR). This 5 km elevated stretch, running from Dahisar West to Bhayandar West, will close a critical connectivity gap between Nariman Point and Mira Bhayandar.
