Adani Power secures 1,600 MW ultra-supercritical thermal project in Madhya Pradesh

Adani Power has secured a 1,600 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power project in Madhya Pradesh, investing around INR 21,000 crore. The project includes an additional 800 MW awarded under a first-of-its-kind greenshoe mechanism, following the earlier 800 MW contract. Both units will be developed under the DBFOO model and are expected to be operational within five years. The plant will contribute to Madhya Pradesh's energy security, create thousands of jobs, and expand Adani Power's already significant footprint, as the company plans to increase its generation capacity to over 41 GW by 2032.Read more

Government clears construction of Mokama-Munger stretch of high speed corridor in Bihar

The Union Government approved the development of the Mokama-Munger section of the Buxar-Bhagalpur high-speed corridor in Bihar, with an investment of INR 4,447.38 crore. The project, spanning 82.4 km, will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode. The approval was granted during a Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. NBCC to manage new 1,000-acre business district in Naveen Nagpur

State-owned NBCC Ltd has entered into an agreement with the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) to take forward the 'Naveen Nagpur' project. Delhi Airport to resume operations on upgraded runway RW 10/28 this month

Runway RW 10/28 at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport is scheduled to reopen this month after being closed for three months to complete upgrade works.
