Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured a solar project order worth INR 1,252.43 crore from its group company, Waaree Forever Energies Pvt Ltd (WFEPL). The project is planned for completion in the financial year 2026-27 and involves Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of an 870 MWac/1,218 MWp grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant. The scope also includes a 33kV/400kV substation, transmission line works, and two years of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services. Both companies operate under Waaree Energies Ltd, highlighting the group's continued focus on large-scale renewable energy projects in India.
Waaree Renewable Technologies has announced that it has received a solar project order valued at INR 1,252.43 crore from Waaree Forever Energies Pvt Ltd (WFEPL), a fellow subsidiary under Waaree Energies Ltd. The project is scheduled for completion in the financial year 2026-27, according to a regulatory filing.
As per the agreement, Waaree Renewable will handle Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) works for an 870 MWac/1,218 MWp grid-connected ground-mounted solar power project. The work includes constructing a 33kV/400kV substation and transmission line infrastructure necessary to connect the solar plant to the power grid.
Alongside construction, Waaree Renewable will provide Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for two years after the project becomes operational. This arrangement ensures smooth functioning and monitoring of the plant during its initial years.
Both Waaree Renewable and WFEPL are subsidiaries of Waaree Energies Ltd, which has been actively involved in developing large-scale renewable energy projects across India. The collaboration reflects the group's strategy of using its combined expertise to efficiently execute and operate major solar energy installations.
