Delhi Metro seeks to expand renewable energy sourcing for its operations

India's rooftop solar adoption grows, but subsidy release and implementation remain a challenge

India has added nearly 4.9 GW of residential rooftop solar capacity under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana (PMSGY), with over 57.9 lakh applications submitted so far.
