Stonecraft Group recently announced that it will invest INR 300 crore to develop an expansive 110-acre township in Yadagirigutta, Telangana. The plan includes an integrated township with a projected revenue potential of INR 1,100 crore. Anant Raj Ltd has confirmed plans to invest nearly INR 4,500 crore in Andhra Pradesh as part of a large-scale expansion of its data centre operations. The company announced earlier this week that its subsidiary, Anant Raj Cloud Pvt Ltd, had signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board to establish a data centre and IT park in a phased manner. Jakson Group has begun its INR 8,000-crore investment to build a 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. The project's first phase, for which groundwork was laid earlier this past week, includes 3 GW of cell and 4 GW of module manufacturing capacity. Over the next three years, the company plans to develop 6 GW capacities each for ingot, wafer, cell and solar modules, creating about 4,000 jobs. Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually inaugurated five industrial units in Sri City during the 30th CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, while the state signed agreements for 12 new projects worth INR 2,320 crore across engineering, food processing and pharmaceuticals. These ventures are expected to create 12,365 jobs. NTPC has outlined a broad nuclear expansion plan involving 700 MW, 1,000 MW and 1,600 MW projects across multiple states. The company aims to contribute 30 GW to India's proposed 100 GW nuclear target by 2047 and is assessing land in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
