Prism, the parent company of OYO, is expanding its premium hotel brand Sunday Hotels with plans to open 40 new upscale properties across India during the current financial year. The expansion will include 4-star and 5-star hotels in both metros and smaller cities, with an additional focus on tourism-heavy locations such as wildlife sanctuaries and religious destinations. Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are expected to contribute more than 40% of the new portfolio. Italian fashion retailer OVS will soon open its first store in India at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi.
