Synopsis

International hospitality brand Radisson Group announced plans to expand its presence across Uttar Pradesh with eight new hotels, driven by the state's rising tourism appeal. During the inauguration of its new five-star property, Radisson Prayagraj, company executives shared that the group would also introduce a Park Inn mid-segment hotel next year. Developed in collaboration with the Presidency Group, Radisson Prayagraj marks Radisson's tenth hotel in the state and represents an investment of INR 220 crore.

Radisson Hotel Group is set to strengthen its portfolio in Uttar Pradesh, with plans to launch eight new hotels in the state amid increasing tourism demand. The announcement was made by Yogendra Agnihotri, Senior Regional Director (Operations), South Asia, during the inauguration event of Radisson Prayagraj earlier this week.

Agnihotri mentioned that the surge in tourist inflows witnessed during the last Maha Kumbh Mela had encouraged the group to expand further within the state. He also revealed that Radisson intends to introduce a mid-segment property under its Park Inn brand next year, aimed at catering to a wider customer base.

Radisson Prayagraj, developed in partnership with the Presidency Group, marks the group's tenth hotel in Uttar Pradesh. Presidency Group Managing Director Owais Usmani noted that an investment of approximately INR 220 crore had been made to establish the property, which houses 108 rooms equipped with modern facilities.

Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the Prayagraj property signified a new chapter for the brand in a city known for its historical and cultural significance. He added that the hotel would provide internationally recognised standards of service to pilgrims and travellers visiting the city.

With Radisson Prayagraj now operational and several new hotels in the pipeline, the group aims to enhance its hospitality network and cater to both premium and mid-segment travellers. The investment underscores Radisson's commitment to capitalising on the region's tourism boom and supporting local infrastructure growth.
