Rajasthan moves forward with INR 12,260 crore Jaipur Metro Phase-II project

Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma has approved the detailed project-report for Jaipur Metro Phase-2, covering a 42.80-km stretch from Todi Mode to Prahladpura. The INR 12,260 crore project, announced in the 2025-26 state budget, will be executed by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation, a new 50:50 joint venture between the state and Central government. NHB RESIDEX reports 7.5% annual rise in property prices across Indian cities

Property prices rose in 48 out of 50 Indian cities in the final quarter of FY 2024-25, according to NHB's latest RESIDEX report.
