Omaxe Ltd has entered into a partnership with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) to establish India's first stadium-hotel and an exclusive members-only club at The Omaxe State in Dwarka. The development will feature a 158-key Gateway-branded luxury hotel, including 40 stadium-view suites inside the upcoming international cricket and football stadium, alongside 108 premium rooms. With an elite 250,000 sq. ft. club, integrated hospitality, retail, and lifestyle facilities, the project aims to transform urban living in Delhi NCR.
Omaxe Ltd, one of India's leading real estate developers, recently announced its partnership with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), operator of the Taj brand of hotels, to launch a Gateway-branded hotel at The Omaxe State, Dwarka. At the core of the collaboration will be a 158-key luxury hotel, including 40 exclusive stadium-view suites inside the upcoming international cricket-cum-football stadium. The adjoining premium club building will accommodate an additional 108 luxury rooms catering to both business and leisure visitors.
Spread across 50.4 acres under a PPP model with the Delhi Development Authority, The Omaxe State will feature five lifestyle districts - Sports, Hospitality, Food, Social, and Shopping. Anchored by a 30,000-seater stadium built to ICC and FIFA standards, the project has been planned as a comprehensive urban ecosystem blending leisure, retail, and entertainment.
Alongside the hotel, IHCL will manage a 250,000 sq. ft. exclusive members-only club, positioned among the largest in India. The design takes inspiration from leading global venues such as The Bay Club in Mumbai, the Accor Arena in Paris, and private city clubs in London and Dubai. Facilities will include signature restaurants, lounges, private bars, Olympic-standard swimming and leisure pools, spa and wellness centres, co-working areas, a library, bowling alleys, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, world-class gymnastics with a boxing ring, as well as banqueting and event spaces with multi-level parking.
Located near Bharat Vandana Park and Yashobhoomi, Asia's largest convention centre, the project is anticipated to draw international sporting events, exhibitions, and conferences. Commenting on the development, Omaxe Managing Director Mohit Goel stated that the project was envisioned as Delhi?s most ambitious destination, where the collaboration with IHCL would set new benchmarks for hospitality and urban entertainment, while offering both stadium-view stays and exclusive club privileges.
