Delhivery has expanded its instant intra-city delivery service to Mumbai and Hyderabad, adding to its existing presence in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. The service, available through the Delhivery Direct app, enables users to book local pickups within around 15 minutes and select vehicles based on shipment size. Designed for small businesses, D2C brands and individuals, the platform also offers real-time tracking and access to intercity deliveries across more than 18,850 pincodes nationwide. The move reflects growing demand for faster local logistics solutions in large urban markets.
Delhivery has extended its instant intra-city shipping service to Mumbai and Hyderabad, marking the next phase of its urban logistics expansion. The service was earlier introduced in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, where it was positioned as a quick, flexible delivery option for local shipments. With the latest rollout, Delhivery aims to strengthen its presence in two of India?s largest commercial and consumption-driven cities.
The service is offered through the Delhivery Direct mobile application, available on both Android and iOS platforms. Users can schedule pickups that typically take place within about 15 minutes of booking. The platform allows customers to choose vehicles based on parcel size, including two-wheelers for smaller consignments and three- or four-wheelers for larger loads. Real-time tracking is provided throughout the delivery process.
Delhivery has positioned the offering for a wide user base that includes small and medium enterprises, direct-to-consumer brands and individual customers who require fast and reliable intra-city movement of goods. The company has highlighted that the service is meant to address frequent local delivery needs such as business shipments, urgent documents and same-day parcel movement within city limits.
In addition to local deliveries, the Delhivery Direct app also enables intercity shipping to more than 18,850 pincodes across India. This allows users to manage both short-distance and long-distance shipments from a single platform. The intra-city expansion aligns with Delhivery?s broader strategy of building a multi-layered logistics network that combines last-mile speed with national reach.
The company has steadily added new logistics services in recent years, including solutions aimed at MSMEs and D2C brands, as demand for faster and more predictable delivery timelines continues to rise in urban centres.
