Synopsis

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd clarified that its 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan is operating without any transmission or evacuation constraints. The company said the project has received effective long-term General Network Access, allowing it to evacuate its entire capacity through dedicated transmission infrastructure. While several solar projects in the state are currently dependent on temporary grid arrangements due to pending transmission links, ACMEs project is not affected. The commissioning of a key transmission line has also eased grid constraints for thousands of megawatts of solar capacity across Rajasthan.

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd said its 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan continues to operate smoothly with full transmission support and without any evacuation constraints. The company stated that the project, developed through its subsidiary ACME Sikar Solar Pvt Ltd, is connected to the Bikaner-II substation and is currently evacuating its entire 300 MW capacity.

In Rajasthan, several solar projects are supplying power under the temporary general network access framework as their associated transmission systems are yet to be commissioned. ACME clarified that its project does not fall under this category and is not impacted by such interim arrangements.

The company explained that the project has received effectiveness approval for long-term General Network Access, which ensures confirmed and dedicated transmission capacity. As a result, the project continues to operate without restrictions on power evacuation.

ACME Solar also pointed out that transmission constraints in Rajasthan have eased following the commissioning of the Narela?Khetri transmission line. This development has made long-term GNA effective for around 4,300 MW of solar projects across the state, benefiting multiple developers.

ACME Solar Holdings operates as an integrated renewable energy company with interests across solar, wind, energy storage, firm and dispatchable renewable energy, and hybrid solutions. Its operational portfolio stands at 2,934 MW, while projects totaling 4,586 MW are under construction, including battery energy storage systems with a capacity of about 15 GWh.
