Situated in the prominent Floreasca business district, the office emphasizes TCS commitment to nurturing local talent. More than 95% of the employees at this location are Romanian nationals, highlighting the company's focus on leveraging domestic expertise for global operations. TCS noted that this investment in the Romanian workforce and digital engineering skills will significantly improve its capacity to execute complex projects for clients.
The expansion follows TCS recent establishment of a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) innovation hub in Bucharest. The SDV hub is set to support global automotive clients in adopting next-generation mobility solutions, reinforcing Romania's strategic role in TCS European operations.
TCS also pointed out that the new office will be an essential part of its European delivery network, which provides hyper-connected services to over 350 clients in 20 countries, employing more than 15,000 professionals. This network allows TCS to deliver consistent near-shore experiences tailored to the cultural, regulatory, language, and technological requirements of its clients across Europe.
