The Greater Noida Authority has finalised alignments for two major projects-the Multimodal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Bodaki and the Multimodal Logistics Hub (MMLH) at Dadri-aimed at strengthening regional mobility and freight connectivity. The 117-hectare MMTH will integrate metro, rail and bus terminals, linked by a 1.8 km elevated metro line from the Greater Noida Depot. It will serve long-distance trains to eastern India and provide commercial and transport infrastructure across two planned zones. The 311-hectare MMLH will directly connect to the Dedicated Freight Corridor via a 3 km rail spur, enabling faster cargo movement. Both projects form part of the Master Plan 2041 and are being developed with NICDC under the DMIC framework.
The Greater Noida Authority has cleared the final alignments for two significant infrastructure projects aimed at improving transport and logistics connectivity in the region. The Multimodal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Bodaki, spread over 117 hectares, will bring together metro, railway, and bus terminals under a single facility. A 1.8?km elevated metro line will connect the Greater Noida Depot to this hub along the 105?metre wide arterial road. Once operational, the hub is expected to handle many east?bound long-distance trains to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal, streamlining passenger movement in the region.
The MMTH is designed in two zones: 70 hectares for road-based transport systems and commercial areas, and 47 hectares for railway-related facilities. Its location along the Delhi-Howrah railway line and proximity to major road arteries such as Knowledge Park I, the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, and NH?34 will enhance connectivity for both local and long-distance travelers.
The 311?hectare Multimodal Logistics Hub (MMLH) at Dadri will connect directly to the Dedicated Freight Corridor via a 3?km railway spur to New Dadri station. The hub is strategically positioned at the junction of the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors, which will allow faster movement of industrial cargo, particularly between Greater Noida's manufacturing clusters and major economic corridors linking Mumbai and Kolkata. The MMLH will feature mechanised warehouses, intermodal cargo handling facilities, and value-added services to support logistics efficiency.
These projects are part of the city's Master Plan 2041 and align with earlier plans under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) is collaborating with the Greater Noida Authority to develop the Integrated Industrial Township along with these two hubs. The logistics hub had previously received government approval for a INR 5,942 crore investment.
