Highway Infrastructure Limited (HIL) has secured its largest single contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for toll operations and management at the Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada stretch of NH16 in Andhra Pradesh. The contract, valued at INR 328.77 crore, covers one year of toll collection, facility maintenance, and upkeep of toilet blocks along the 82.5 km highway section.
This new project has pushed HIL’s consolidated order book to INR 1,078 crore, a significant rise from INR 750 crore last month. The current order book consists of INR 577 crore in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects and INR 502 crore in tollway projects. Managing Director Arun Kumar Jain noted that the company’s healthy order pipeline ensures steady revenue visibility and that successfully executing large contracts can open doors to more opportunities across India’s highway infrastructure sector.
HIL has been steadily expanding its operations across national highways, focusing on both EPC and tollway projects. The mix of these projects provides the company with balanced revenue streams while supporting its growth ambitions in road infrastructure management. The Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada contract further strengthens its position in Andhra Pradesh and aligns with India’s growing focus on highway modernization and toll efficiency.
