Synopsis

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has extended its festive discount offer on ready-to-move flats until early November, allowing homebuyers to avail direct price reductions ranging from INR 1 lakh to INR 2 lakh based on the unit cost. Nearly 589 flats have been booked so far, while more than 1,100 are still available. The flats, priced between INR 22 lakh and INR 1.08 crore, come in 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK configurations across several housing projects. Buyers making full payments within 45-90 days can also avail additional discounts of 3-6 percent.

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has extended its ongoing discount offer for ready-to-move flats, giving homebuyers additional time to purchase units at reduced prices. The offer, which was initially valid till late October, will now continue until early November. The move comes amid strong buyer response during the Diwali season, as 589 units have already been booked, while over 1,100 ready-to-move flats remain available across different LDA housing projects.

Under the revised offer, buyers can avail direct discounts ranging between INR 1 lakh and INR 2 lakh depending on the price of the flat. Units priced between INR 20 lakh and INR 50 lakh receive an INR 1 lakh discount, those in the INR 50 lakh to INR 75 lakh range get INR 1.5 lakh off, while properties above INR 75 lakh qualify for INR 2 lakh off. In addition, buyers opting for full payment within 45-90 days are eligible for an extra concession of 3-6 percent on the total cost.

The ready-to-move flats available under the scheme range from 500 sq ft to 1,900 sq ft and include 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK options. The projects are spread across several well-developed areas of the city, including Gomtinagar, Janakipuram, Priyadarshini (Sitapur Road), Aliganj, Kanpur Road, Devpur Para, and Sharda Nagar. These locations are among the key residential zones developed by the LDA in recent years and are known for their planned layouts and civic amenities.

As per the terms of the scheme, government employees can take possession of the property after paying 25 percent of the flat's cost, while general buyers can do so after paying 35 percent under the hire-purchase model. The payment flexibility has attracted both first-time buyers and government allottees seeking quick possession options.

Among the different projects, Devpur Para has recorded the highest response, with 382 units booked so far. It is followed by Sopan Enclave-2 under the Priyadarshini scheme, where 56 flats have been sold. Other projects such as Ashlesha Apartments and Rashmi Lok Apartments have also reported bookings of 18 and 15 flats, respectively. The response has encouraged the authority to keep the offer active for a limited period to help more buyers take advantage of the festive discounts.

The LDA's continued push to sell its ready inventory aligns with its broader aim of improving occupancy in completed projects and ensuring faster revenue realization. The authority has been focusing on clearing unsold stock to reinvest in upcoming residential and infrastructure developments in Lucknow.
