Naidu highlighted the state's investor-friendly environment, future technology initiatives like quantum computing in Amaravati, and the drone city in Orvakal, emphasizing Andhra Pradesh's growing industrial and technological ambitions.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated an MSME park at Peddaerlapadu village in Kanigiri mandal, Prakasam district, and virtually launched and laid the foundation for up to 50 additional MSME parks across 17 districts in the state.
As part of the second phase of MSME development, Naidu unveiled 15 parks covering 329 acres and laid the foundation for 35 government and private parks spanning 587 acres. The events also marked the inauguration of 25 industrial units with a combined investment of INR 25,256 crore.
The Chief Minister engaged with industrialists whose facilities were inaugurated in districts including Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Anakapalli. In his address at a public meeting, he emphasized the state government's focus on providing a smooth environment for businesses. He stated that the government is developing common infrastructure in the industrial parks, including power, water, and roads, to make it easier for entrepreneurs to establish industries.
Naidu described the current period as an 'investments festival' in the state and highlighted that Andhra Pradesh promptly implements central policies. He noted that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is providing full support to the government, while Minister Lokesh is working continuously to drive industrial growth.
Looking ahead, Naidu said that the future lies in technology. He announced that quantum computing operations will begin in the greenfield capital city of Amaravati in January 2026, positioning the state as a hub for manufacturing and supplying quantum computers globally. Additionally, he mentioned the development of a drone city in Orvakal, which served as the testing ground for drones used in Operation Sindoor.
