Italian fashion retailer OVS will soon open its first store in India at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi. Scheduled for October, the store spans 9,000 square feet and will house everyday wear and premium collections including PIOMBO, B.Angel, Les Copains, and Utopja, all developed by the in-house design team. With more than 2,200 stores globally and sales worth EUR 1.63 billion in 2024, OVS is extending its reach to one of the fastest-growing fashion markets. A surprise gift will also be offered to the first 100 visitors on the launch day.
Italian fashion brand OVS will open its first store in India this October at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi. The launch is part of its plan to expand into growing international markets. The store has been designed to follow OVS's latest retail concept and will spread across 9,000 square feet. It will offer a wide selection of clothing, from daily wear to premium lines such as PIOMBO, B.Angel, Les Copains, and Utopja. All these collections are designed and developed by OVS's own team, combining Italian craftsmanship with affordability and style.
Globally, OVS runs more than 2,200 stores and recorded sales of EUR 1.63 billion in 2024. The brand has built a customer base of over six million people. Its entry into India builds on this international presence and highlights its strategy of making Italian fashion widely available.
Sundeep Chugh, Managing Director of OVS India, said that India is one of the most dynamic fashion markets because of its young demographic and rising demand for global trends. He explained that the New Delhi launch is the beginning of OVS's journey in India and that the company wants to offer Italian design, quality, and affordability to local consumers.
Massimo Piombo, Creative Director at OVS, known for his distinctive collections and work with colors, stated that he aims to inspire customers to use their imagination through his designs. He added that Italian art, travel, and culture play a strong role in shaping OVS collections and that India provides a valuable opportunity for a brand like OVS.
Along with its design and product range, OVS has been focusing on sustainability. On the day of the launch, OVS will give a surprise gift to the first 100 customers visiting the store.
