Max Estates Limited has earned global distinction after securing a dual 5-star rating in the 2025 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB). The company achieved a perfect score of 100 points in the Development category and 92 points in Standing Investments, placing it first among peer entities predefined by GRESB in both segments. With this recognition, Max Estates now ranks within the top 20 per cent of real estate companies worldwide for its strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.

The developer's ESG strategy is closely guided by its LiveWell and WorkWell philosophy, integrating both physical and social initiatives to foster sustainable and inclusive communities throughout a project's lifecycle-from construction to operation.

Commenting on the achievement, Sahil Vachani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Max Estates, said the recognition reflected the company's consistent efforts and the trust placed in it by stakeholders. He added that GRESB's acknowledgment served as both validation and motivation to further strengthen the firm's ESG commitments while ensuring long-term value creation for all associated communities.

Since first participating in GRESB assessments in 2022, Max Estates has made significant progress towards ESG excellence. Its latest scores exceeded global averages across categories-achieving 100 against 88 in Development, and 92 against 79 in Standing Investments. Detailed component scores also highlighted its robust governance (20/20 and 24/24) and strong environmental and social performance, outperforming the respective global averages in every metric.

GRESB, which provides sustainability benchmarks for global real estate organisations, recognises companies annually for their contributions to ESG advancement across the sector. Max Estates' ESG disclosures align with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and undergo independent assurance to ensure transparency and credibility.

The company's commitment to responsible development, guided by its LiveWell and WorkWell philosophy, continues to set benchmarks for ESG excellence. Its consistent performance above global averages underscores the organisation's long-term focus on building sustainable spaces and creating value for stakeholders and communities alike.
