The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has announced the lease of 28 industrial plots across five estates in Goa, including Panchawadi, Pissurlem, Honda, Sanguem, and Kundaim. These plots are intended for new industrial ventures and the expansion of existing units, providing opportunities for small and medium-scale manufacturing operations.


Panchawadi Industrial Estate offers the largest number of plots, with 10 available, followed by Sanguem with seven. Honda has five plots, Pissurlem three, and Kundaim, a key industrial hub, two plots. Plot sizes range from 907 sqm to 2,689 sqm, providing flexibility to meet varying industrial requirements.

Lease rates have been fixed at INR 1,070 per sqm for plots in Panchawadi, Pissurlem, Honda, and Sanguem. In comparison, plots at Kundaim are priced at INR 2,120 per sqm, reflecting the estate's strategic location and well-established infrastructure. Allotments will follow the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (Allotment, Transfer and Sub-Lease) Regulations, 2023, which are available on the GIDC website.

The GIDC's move is part of its ongoing effort to attract investment, boost industrial development, and generate employment opportunities in Goa. Entrepreneurs interested in acquiring these plots must submit applications before the set deadline, ensuring timely consideration for allotment.
