Synopsis

Hilton is expanding its presence in Rajasthan with Hilton Jaipur Kukas, a 122-room property scheduled to open in 2029 in partnership with Masbu Resorts Pvt Ltd. The company already operates Hilton Jaipur and DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Amer, while four additional hotels are under development, including Waldorf Astoria Jaipur, Conrad Jaipur, Signia by Hilton Jaipur, and a property in Udaipur. Jaipur's growing popularity as a cultural tourism and destination wedding hub aligns with Hilton's strategy to strengthen its full-service hotel offerings in high-demand leisure markets. Hilton aims to grow its South Asia portfolio from 71 to 300 hotels over the next decade.

Hilton has signed an agreement to develop Hilton Jaipur Kukas, adding to its expanding portfolio in Rajasthan, where the company currently operates six hotels. The new 122-room property will be developed in partnership with Masbu Resorts Pvt Ltd and is expected to open in 2029. This addition strengthens Hilton's presence in a state known for its cultural heritage and growing tourism sector.

In Rajasthan, Hilton currently operates Hilton Jaipur and DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Amer. In addition, four hotels are under development: Waldorf Astoria Jaipur, Conrad Jaipur, Signia by Hilton Jaipur, and a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Udaipur. These developments reflect Hilton's strategy of increasing its footprint in high-demand leisure and wedding destinations.

Jaipur, often called the gateway to India's Golden Triangle, is home to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Amber Fort and Jantar Mantar. The city attracts millions of tourists every year and is becoming increasingly popular for cultural tourism, heritage experiences, and destination weddings, making it an important market for full-service international hotel brands.

Clarence Tan, Hilton's senior vice president for Development in Asia Pacific, said that the signing of Hilton Jaipur Kukas reinforces the company's growth momentum in India. He emphasized that Hilton is committed to expanding its full-service portfolio in cities where domestic travel and premium hospitality experiences are driving long-term growth.

Hilton currently has 71 operating and upcoming hotels across South Asia and aims to expand this portfolio to 300 properties within the next ten years. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to double its brand presence in India to cater to the evolving needs of travelers, offering a range of premium hospitality options tailored to local preferences.
