Samsung has unveiled its AI Home in Mumbai, presenting a connected home experience that combines intelligence across appliances, devices, and services. The concept extends Samsung's vision of future living, where smart systems work in unison to create seamless everyday experiences.
The launch was held at the company's flagship store in Jio World Plaza. During the showcase, Samsung highlighted that AI Home is supported by its wide device portfolio and reinforced by safeguards for data security and privacy.
Through AI Home, users can expect practical features that respond to daily needs. Lights can switch on automatically when someone arrives, air conditioners can adjust to sleep settings, and washing machines can recommend suitable washing cycles. The system also adapts continuously, learning from user routines and environmental factors. This form of ambient intelligence is designed to make homes more convenient and energy efficient.
Samsung noted that AI Home is built on its SmartThings ecosystem, which integrates Galaxy AI, Vision AI, and Bespoke AI into one connected framework. The company said this integration represents its effort to bring intelligence directly into people's daily lives.
JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, explained that the company is not only envisioning the future of AI but also actively building it into practical use. He further pointed out that India holds a central position in this journey, with three R&D centres in the country driving AI innovations that are being applied both domestically and globally.
