This marks its second consecutive quarter at the top. Passengers praised its smooth check-ins, quick security, friendly staff, and clean spaces. SVPIA handled 13.3 million passengers and nearly 280 flights daily in FY 2024-25. It also received awards for safety, sustainability, and quality-like the 5S Certification and Level 4 ACI accreditation. The recognition underlines SVPIA's focus on seamless travel and eco-conscious operations.

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) in Ahmedabad, operated by the Adani Group, has been ranked number one globally in passenger satisfaction and experience. This achievement comes from the latest Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey conducted by the Airports Council International (ACI) for the second quarter of 2025.


The airport received a perfect score of 5 out of 5 in its category, which includes airports handling between 5 to 15 million passengers per year. SVPIA also achieved a perfect score in the first quarter of 2025.

Passengers praised SVPIA for its easy-to-find check-in counters, short waiting times at security, courteous staff, and clean seating areas. The overall atmosphere of the airport also received positive feedback. The survey, conducted between April and June 2025, also noted a high "emotional score," showing a good feeling among travelers.

SVPIA is Gujarat's busiest airport. In the fiscal year 2024-25, it handled 13.3 million passengers and nearly 280 flights daily. It also managed over 100,000 metric tons of cargo each year. The airport has received other awards, including the 5S Certification from JUSE and QCFI, Level 4 accreditation from ACI, and Zero Waste to Landfill recognition from the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development.

These recognitions highlight the airport's commitment to efficiency, quality, and sustainable practices.
