Godrej Properties has forayed into the Vadodara real estate market by acquiring approximately 34 acres of land for the development of a residential project comprising premium plots. The new Vadodara project will focus exclusively on plotted residential offerings, reflecting growing demand in the region.

Godrej Properties has entered the Vadodara property market with the acquisition of nearly 34 acres of land, where it intends to launch a residential development centred around plotted housing.


The Mumbai-headquartered firm, stated in a regulatory filing that the land parcel will be used for premium plotted residential units. The filing indicated that this strategic land acquisition officially marks Godrej Properties debut in the Vadodara region.

The expansion into Vadodara follows the company's earlier move in Ahmedabad, where it had secured a 3-acre land parcel in the Vastrapur locality during October 2024. That acquisition formed part of the developer's broader strategy to strengthen its presence in Gujarat's key urban centres.

With a focus on plotted developments in the region, the company is aligning with changing consumer preferences for larger, custom-built homes. This acquisition in Vadodara complements its previous investment in Ahmedabad and reinforces the developer's long-term commitment to expanding in high-potential tier-2 cities.
