The order is set to be fulfilled by June 2028, as disclosed in a regulatory exchange filing. This significant deal reinforces Diamond Power's stronghold in India's transmission infrastructure sector. Known as the country's largest single-location manufacturer of power cables and conductors, the company continues to attract large-scale contracts, reflecting its operational scale and sectoral importance.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd has secured a major supply order worth INR 1,349.11 crore from Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), according to a filing submitted to the stock exchange. The scope of the project includes the supply of 24,080 AL-59 high-performance conductors, which are crucial components used in overhead power transmission lines. The entire order is expected to be executed by June 2028.

In the filing, the company confirmed that it had received a formal letter of intent from AESL, outlining the terms and scale of the engagement. These conductors are typically employed in long-distance, high-voltage power transmission to improve efficiency and reduce energy losses, particularly in regions with demanding environmental conditions.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd, based in Vadodara, Gujarat, holds the distinction of operating India's largest single-location manufacturing facility for power cables and conductors. Over the years, the company has become a key player in the power transmission and distribution segment, regularly supplying to central and state utilities, private infrastructure developers, and renewable energy companies.

This latest contract from AESL adds to its expanding order book and highlights the ongoing collaboration between infrastructure developers and manufacturing companies to strengthen India's power grid. Adani Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of the Adani Group, has been investing heavily in expanding and modernising the country's transmission networks, with a focus on high-capacity and high-efficiency systems.

The company has been at the forefront of several transmission corridor developments, and this procurement is seen as part of its larger strategy to support rising power demand across multiple Indian states.

For Adani Energy Solutions, the deal underscores its strategic commitment to upgrading transmission capacity and ensuring grid efficiency amid increasing electricity consumption and renewable energy integration.
