House of Hiranandani announced that Lightbridge, its flagship IT park on Saki Vihar Road in Powai, Mumbai, has received the Platinum Rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) under its Green New Buildings rating system, one of the highest levels of sustainability certification in India. Designed as a next-generation workplace, Lightbridge spans around 6,00,000 sq. ft. and incorporates advanced energy-efficient systems, maximizes natural light, and reduces the carbon footprint, while promoting occupant well-being. The project represents the company's focus on creating commercial spaces that balance architectural innovation with environmental responsibility.
Prashin Jhobalia, Chief Marketing Officer of House of Hiranandani, noted that the certification reaffirms their approach to developing commercial spaces that add long-term value for both people and the planet. Strategically positioned between two metro lines-one operational near Andheri-Kurla Road and another upcoming along JVLR-the building is just over one kilometre from each, offering strong connectivity to Western and Central railway lines.
