The company, which had a profit of INR 53 crore in the same period last year, attributed the drop mainly to temporary labor shortages and an early monsoon. Capacit'e Infraprojects has reported a 12 percent drop in its consolidated net profit, reaching INR 47 crore in the June quarter of fiscal year 2026. This is a decline from the INR 53 crore net profit recorded in the same quarter of the previous financial year, according to a statement issued on Monday.

The company stated that its total income for the first quarter of the current fiscal year grew by 4 percent, reaching INR 599 crore from INR 578 crore in the year-ago quarter. However, the company's expenses also increased to INR 536.57 crore from INR 506.81 crore in the same period a year ago.

Rohit Katyal, the company's Executive Chairman, said that while the quarter was partially impacted by temporary labor shortages and an early monsoon, the results still showed the strength of their execution capabilities and financial management.

As of June 30, the company's gross debt was INR 395 crore. Its order book stood at INR 11,254 crore as of the same date, with public sector projects making up 62 percent of the orders and private sector projects accounting for 38 percent.
