Synopsis

Awfis saw a standalone profit of INR 8.94 crore and total income of INR 351.54 crore, reflecting a 30 percent year-on-year growth in operating revenue. Profitability improved markedly, with the operating EBITDA margin reaching 37.8 percent. A 40 percent expansion in seat capacity and a 25 percent rise in tier-II city presence underline its scalability. The company is also entering office furniture production, investing INR 8-10 crore to streamline fit-outs and create a new income stream all following the previous quarter's dramatic profit and revenue rise.

Awfis Space Solutions has reported a healthy beginning to the fiscal year, achieving a net standalone profit of INR 8.94 crore, with total income reaching INR 351.54 crore. Operating revenue rose about 30 percent compared to the same period last year, driven by strong demand and sustained occupancy across its network. The operating EBITDA margin climbed around 710 basis points to 37.8 percent, supported by enterprise clients, expanded allied services, and improved efficiency.

Operational seat capacity expanded by 40 percent year-on-year, a clear sign of scalable growth. The company also broadened its presence in tier II cities by nearly 25 percent. Occupancy levels remain reassuringly high, standing at 84 percent for centres older than a year and around 73 percent on average.

In a strategic move, the company has ventured into the office furniture and furnishings sector, setting aside approximately INR 8-10 crore for product development, manufacturing partnerships, prototyping, certifications, hiring, and working capital. This new initiative is expected to improve cost efficiency for in-house fit-outs, open additional revenue channels through external clients, and give better control over quality and timelines.

This comes on the back of a strong performance in the previous quarter, when profit surged nearly ninefold and operating revenue climbed 46 percent year-on-year, reinforcing its positive momentum.
