Synopsis

TRULiV, a fast-growing co-living and long-stay hospitality brand, has received equity funding from Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), valuing the company at INR 356.5 crore. The investment will support TRULiV's expansion into new cities and hospitality formats like holiday homes, retirement communities, and eco-stays. Founded in 2019, TRULiV operates on an asset-light, built-to-suit model and aims to hit INR 200 crore in annual revenue within three years. Co-founders Rohit Reddy and Ranjeeth Rathod highlighted BCCL's strategic media support and consumer insights as vital to future growth.

TRULiV, a popular player in India's co-living and long-stay hospitality sector, has secured an equity investment from Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), placing the company's valuation at INR 356.50 crore. This development positions TRULiV as a formidable national contender in the alternate asset class hospitality space, as it continues to cater to the shifting preferences of Gen Z and millennial renters across urban India.

The capital infusion will be channelled into multiple growth avenues - expanding into untapped cities, enhancing its technology platform, and venturing into fresh hospitality asset classes such as holiday homes, retirement communities, and nature-centric stays. Backed by a capital-efficient and asset-light operational model, TRULiV projects it will achieve an annual revenue of INR 200 crore within the next three years.

According to Mr. Rohit Reddy, Co-founder of TRULiV, the investment marked a validation of the company's vision. He believes that with BCCL's involvement, the company would benefit from a media partner who deeply understands consumer behaviour, offering significant support as TRULiV expands across newer cities and asset classes.

Mr. Ranjeeth Rathod, Co-founder and Managing Director of TRULiV, pointed out that the strategic investment from BCCL would enable TRULiV to strengthen its presence, develop deeper tech-led solutions, and forge strong institutional partnerships across real estate and hospitality.

Established in 2019 with just USD 2 million in seed capital, TRULiV has emerged as a strong brand in co-living and long-stay accommodations. TRULiV operates through a built-to-suit, asset-light model that integrates real estate efficiency with hospitality finesse.
