Brigade Enterprises Ltd has finalised the outright purchase of a 20.19-acre land parcel in Bengaluru's rapidly developing Whitefield-Hoskote Corridor for INR 588.33 crore. The acquisition is part of the company's long-term expansion strategy and aims to deliver a mixed-use residential and commercial project with a total development scope of 4.2 million square feet.
In its regulatory filing, Brigade described the location as "prime," given the growth potential of the Whitefield-Hoskote belt. The firm projects a revenue generation of approximately INR 5,200 crore from this forthcoming development.
Managing Director Pavitra Shankar stated that the acquisition reflects the company's commitment to building integrated spaces that blend living, working, and leisure. She noted that the Whitefield-Hoskote corridor is undergoing significant transformation and expressed enthusiasm about Brigade's role in shaping the area?s future.
Brigade Enterprises continues to maintain a strong foothold in South India's real estate market, with its portfolio spanning residential, office, retail, and hospitality developments. The company has previously launched notable projects in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi, with Whitefield remaining one of its key zones of interest due to its tech-driven demand and growing infrastructure.
