Synopsis

ASK Property Fund and India Sotheby's International Realty have partnered with Amavi by Clarks to create an INR 500 crore equity fund platform aimed at luxury second-home developments. The initiative, set up through the ASK Curated Luxury Assets Fund-I, will focus on premium branded villas in hill, lake, and spiritual destinations. The platform brings together ASK's investment capabilities, India Sotheby's insights into luxury buyers, and the Clarks Group's hospitality expertise. With rising demand for high-quality second homes among Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, the partners aim to build experiential, hospitality-led residential assets.

ASK Property Fund and India Sotheby's International Realty have collaborated with Amavi by Clarks to establish an INR 500 crore equity fund platform dedicated to luxury housing projects. The initiative has been created under the ASK Curated Luxury Assets Fund-I, a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund. The announcement was made through a company statement issued earlier this week.

The platform has been set up to invest in branded luxury second homes located across hill towns, lake regions, and well-known spiritual destinations. These categories have seen consistent demand from affluent buyers over the past few years, especially as premium second homes have evolved into long-term lifestyle investments.

Amavi by Clarks is supported by the promoters of Clarks Group of Hotels and Brij Hotels, bringing a hospitality-driven approach to the partnership. The company has been expanding its presence in premium villa and resort-style residential projects, reflecting a broader trend where hospitality brands are increasingly involved in luxury real estate development.

Amit Bhagat, Co-Founder, CEO, and Managing Director of ASK Property Fund, stated that Ultra High Net Worth Individuals in India have been showing stronger interest in luxury second homes, and the new platform has been launched to tap into niche opportunities within this segment. He highlighted that the investment strategy is focused on identifying high-value projects backed by strong brands and locations.

Amit Goyal, Managing Director of India Sotheby's International Realty, noted that the platform would benefit from the firm's understanding of luxury property buyers, ASK's investment experience, and the Clarks Group's hospitality credentials. He mentioned that the partners intend to create a new generation of branded villa developments that combine investment potential with elevated living experiences.

Apurv Kumar, Founder of Amavi by Clarks and Managing Director of Clarks Group of Hotels, said the core objective is to deliver hospitality-led premium home assets tailored to evolving lifestyle expectations.

India Sotheby's International Realty, headquartered in Delhi, continues to focus on premium and luxury property advisory, while ASK Property Fund has been expanding its curated investment platforms across residential and real estate-backed segments.
