The logistics firm Nowaste Logistics is expanding its operations by leasing 6,200 sqm from Wihlborgs in the Platforadlingen 11 property at Hamncity in southern Helsingborg. The agreement covers a three-year lease with occupation starting 1 March 2026. Nowaste already leases premises from Wihlborgs and sees this location near the port and rail connections as strategically important. Wihlborgs highlights this deal as evidence that Hamncity is well suited for modern logistics flows. The move builds on previous expansions by both companies in the region.
The company Nowaste Logistics has entered into a lease for 6,200 sqm of space from Wihlborgs, located at the property Platforadlingen 11 in Hamncity, southern Helsingborg. The new lease spans three years and the tenant will take possession beginning on 1 March 2026.
Nowaste Logistics is among the Nordic region's major third-party logistics providers, known for its focus on automation, IT and management. The firm already leases facilities from Wihlborgs in Helsingborg, making this a continuation of their partnership.
The leased location is part of Hamncity, an emerging logistics and industrial zone situated in southern Helsingborg that offers direct proximity to the container port, major highways E4/E6, and rail infrastructure. The rail-connected capability with loading/unloading of rail wagons is one of the reasons Nowaste identifies this location as significant for future volumes.
From Wihlborgs' perspective, the deal underlines Hamncity's growing importance for logistics flows and industrial operations. The company noted that the decision by a leading logistics operator to expand in that area confirms the suitability of the site for modern supply-chain uses.
Looking back, Wihlborgs and Nowaste have collaborated previously: in November 2023, Wihlborgs signed an agreement with Nowaste Logistics for an additional 6,900 m² (≈ 74,300 sq ft) at the Rubinen 1 property in Vala sodra, Helsingborg, with occupancy beginning in March 2024.
In terms of market context, the logistics real-estate segment in southern Sweden has been seeing sustained demand, as firms seek well-connected sites that combine port, road and rail access, along with flexible warehouse space. This deal appears aligned with that trend.
