Haryana rolled out a paperless property registration system on November?1, aiming to replace traditional physical documentation across all tehsils. Within three weeks, over 10,450 registrations have been completed, demonstrating the system's efficiency and operational capacity.

Financial Commissioner for Revenue and Disaster Management, Sumita Misra, described the change as a transformation, emphasizing that it is not merely digitization. The system has been strengthened with upgraded software and improved workflows to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Between November?1 and November?21, citizens booked 9,365 online appointments, contributing to the cumulative registrations. On its busiest day, the platform processed 1,659 registrations, maintaining an average of nearly 1,500 per day, highlighting both reliability and high throughput.

The initiative builds on Haryana's earlier efforts to modernize governance and aims to provide faster, transparent, and citizen-friendly property registration services. Misra noted that the system positions Haryana as a model for digital governance and administrative innovation, improving accountability and reducing bureaucratic delays.
