Z-Tech (India) has signed a deal to acquire a 76 percent stake in Grace Green Infra Pvt Ltd, turning it into a subsidiary and strengthening its position in the water-treatment segment. The acquisition brings in Ministry of Jal Shakti-certified technologies, including the Grace Vermi-Filtration system, packaged FRP sewage-treatment plants, and nanobubble bio-remediation for lake rejuvenation. Grace Green Infra also holds an unexecuted order book of about INR 22 crore, giving Z-Tech better revenue visibility and supporting its wider push into sustainable and long-term water-management solutions.
Z-Tech (India) has acquired a 76 percent stake in Grace Green Infra Pvt Ltd (GGIPL) through a share purchase agreement, making the company its subsidiary. The transaction strengthens Z-Tech's environmental-infrastructure business by adding certified water-treatment technologies to its portfolio.
The company intends to expand its environmental-solutions vertical and sees strong potential in integrating GGIPL's water-management systems into its projects. This includes long-term water-treatment operations required for Z-Tech's theme-park division. The Managing Director, Sanghamitra Borgohain, stated that GGIPL's existing order book provides clear revenue visibility for the coming period.
Grace Green Infra adds multiple ecological and low-energy water-treatment technologies to Z-Tech's capabilities. Among them is the Grace Vermi-Filtration Solution, which treats wastewater using natural filtration media and vermiculture. This system operates without mechanical aeration and is certified by the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
The company also supplies packaged FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) sewage-treatment plants in the 1-50 KLD range. These units, certified by IIT Bhubaneswar, can be installed above or below ground and require lower power compared to conventional systems.
GGIPL further uses nanobubble and bio-remediation technology to restore polluted lakes, helping increase dissolved oxygen levels and reduce organic contaminants. This technology has been implemented in several water-body rejuvenation projects.
Grace Green Infra currently has an unexecuted order book of about INR 22 crore, which strengthens Z-Tech's position in the water-treatment space.
