Mahindra Logistics has set up an all-women operated warehouse in Indore in collaboration with L'Oreal India, serving central India markets like Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Indore. The facility aims to streamline distribution, reduce transit times, and improve service reliability for L'Oreal's wide range of products. Using MLL's warehouse management system, the warehouse ensures strong inventory control and optimised operations. The initiative underscores both companies' commitment to inclusion, diversity, and gender parity, highlighting the growing emphasis on women's empowerment in corporate India.

Mahindra Group's logistics division, Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL), recently inaugurated an all-women operated warehousing facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, in partnership with L'Oreal India. The facility is designed to support distribution across central India, covering key markets such as Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore, Singrauli, Sagar, Ratlam, Bina, Satna, Rewa, Shahdol, and Shivpuri.


According to MLL, the women-operated warehouse enhances regional reach by enabling faster replenishment cycles, reducing transit times, and ensuring improved service continuity for L'Oreal's broad product portfolio. Hemant Sikka, Managing Director and CEO of MLL, highlighted that the warehouse aligns with L'Oreal India?s focus on inclusion and diversity and emphasizes the company's belief that diverse teams drive stronger performance and innovation.

The facility consolidates a wide range of L'Oreal products under a structured fulfilment system and is backed by MLL's proprietary warehouse management system. This setup allows seamless integration with L'Oreal's distribution needs, strengthening inventory control, optimising workflows, and maintaining consistent service precision.

Arun Saravanakumar, Director of Supply Chain at L'Oreal India, noted that launching the first fully women-operated warehouse in collaboration with Mahindra Logistics demonstrates L'Oreal's commitment to gender parity, equal workplace opportunities, and creating shared value within communities.
