AdaniConneX, the joint venture between Adani Enterprises Ltd and EdgeConneX, has taken over Trade Castle Tech Park Private Ltd for INR 231.34 crore. The deal was formalised through a share purchase agreement signed during the past week with existing shareholders Shree Naman Developers and Jayesh Shah. The acquisition gives AdaniConneX access to a large land parcel and key licences held by TCTPPL, which was incorporated in late 2023 but has not yet begun commercial operations. The move strengthens AdaniConneX's long-term plan to expand its national data centre platform.
AdaniConneX, the 50:50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) and global data centre operator EdgeConneX, has acquired Trade Castle Tech Park Private Ltd (TCTPPL) for INR 231.34 crore. The agreement for the transaction was signed during the past week with existing shareholders Shree Naman Developers and Jayesh Shah, giving AdaniConneX full ownership of the company.
AEL stated in its filing that the acquisition has been undertaken to develop infrastructure facilities. The company indicated that the deal is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 25, 2025.
TCTPPL was incorporated in October 2023 in Mumbai with the purpose of undertaking infrastructure development activities. Although it has not yet begun commercial operations, the company owns a sizeable land parcel and has obtained key permissions required to initiate infrastructure-related work. AEL noted that these approvals would allow AdaniConneX to move ahead with its expansion plans more efficiently.
AdaniConneX was set up to build a 1 GW national data centre platform over the coming decade. The company already operates data centre facilities across major cities such as Chennai, Navi Mumbai, Noida, Pune and Hyderabad, and has been expanding capacity in phases. The addition of TCTPPL's land holdings and infrastructure-ready licences provides strategic support to the JV's roadmap.
