The Lucknow Development Authority has extended the registration window for its Atal Nagar affordable housing scheme until December 2, giving applicants extra time to apply via its website. The scheme includes 2,496 flats in 15 towers at Devpur Para, with both 1 BHK and 2 BHK units priced from around INR 9.82 lakh. A registration fee of 5 percent of the flat cost (or 2.5 percent for reserved categories) is mandatory. Allocations will be made through a transparent lottery. The scheme provides key amenities, including lifts, power backup, green spaces, and security.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has pushed back the registration deadline for its Atal Nagar housing-scheme, extending it to December 2 in response to public demand. This scheme, aimed squarely at the lower- and middle-income segments, offers 2,496 flats spread across 15 towers in Devpur Para.
Of these homes, 1,832 are one-bedroom units while 664 are two-bedroom - sizes range from about 30 sq m to nearly 55 sq m, with prices starting at around INR 9.82 lakh. To apply, candidates must register on the LDA website and pay a fee amounting to 5 percent of the projected flat value; the fee drops to 2.5 percent for those in reserved categories.
Allocation will happen through a lottery-based system, designed to ensure fairness and transparency. To sweeten the offer, the LDA is including modern amenities: each building will have lifts, there will be reliable water and power supply (with backup), green open spaces, dedicated children's play areas, parking, and security infrastructure.
Officials have said that over 4,000 applications have already been received - suggesting strong demand for this affordable-housing initiative. Meanwhile, hardcopy registration booklets will only be available for purchase until November 30, which makes the extension to December 2 more meaningful for prospective buyers who are still weighing their options.
