BrandEye is preparing to bring its remaining Swedish operations under one roof by moving activities from Malmo and Halmstad into a 1,200 sqm facility owned by Wihlborgs in Hamncity, Helsingborg. The company already operates a production unit in the city and plans to relocate all other functions to support its expansion. The ten-year lease strengthens its long-term operational planning. Wihlborgs highlighted the area's strong logistics environment and future development potential, including access to major highways, the existing port and planned port upgrades.
BrandEye, a company that produces texture-modified food for elderly care and healthcare settings, is set to consolidate its Swedish operations in a single location in Hamncity, Helsingborg. The shift will take place in spring 2026 and will involve moving its activities from Malmo and Halmstad to a property owned by Wihlborgs. The company already maintains a production facility in Helsingborg, and the relocation brings all of its Swedish operations together to streamline output and support its expanding product range.
The new facility covers 1,200 sqm, and the lease agreement with Wihlborgs runs for ten years. BrandEye works with meals designed for people with dysphagia and those who face chewing or swallowing challenges. Its services also include training and lectures for professionals working with nutrition in care environments. Founded in 2017, the company now serves around 300 public-sector clients.
The property, known as Pl?tf?r?dlingen 11, is located within the Hamncity district, an area developed for modern industrial and logistics activities. It offers connectivity to the existing container port and direct access to the E4 and E6 highways, along with public transport links. The location is planned to benefit further from the city's long-term development, including a new container port that is expected to strengthen regional logistics capacity.
BrandEye's CEO and founder, Henrik Mauritzon, said the new consolidated facility will play an important role in the company's continued growth. He explained that the organisation focuses on developing food that maintains quality, taste and nutrition while also supporting social interaction around meals.
Wihlborgs' CEO, Ulrika Hallengren, noted that the choice of Hamncity aligns with the company's vision for the area. She stated that the mix of modern industrial premises, reliable access routes and planned port investments makes the region well-positioned for businesses seeking long-term stability.
Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB is a major commercial property owner in the 'resund region, with holdings across Malmo, Helsingborg, Lund and Copenhagen. The company's property portfolio has a book value of SEK 63 billion, and the annual rental value stands at SEK 4.9 billion.
