Synopsis

Designheed Consultants, an architectural and design-execution firm backed by HLK Group's long-standing legacy, has completed more than 60 projects across India since it began operations in 2017. Earlier this week, the company indicated that it is strengthening its design, engineering, and project management capabilities as it works towards surpassing the 100-project mark by next year. Its portfolio spans campuses, corporate workplaces, ports, and institutional facilities, including work for ICSI, IFCI, FDDI, Vishakhapatnam Port Authority, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. The firm is also expanding internationally, with assignments underway in the UAE and the US.

Designheed Consultants, an architectural practice supported by the HLK Group's 73-year heritage, recently announced that it has delivered more than 60 projects across the government and private sectors since its establishment in 2017. The firm, which focuses on designing functional, efficient, and purpose-oriented spaces, is now working towards crossing the 100-project benchmark by next year as it expands its capabilities and reinforces its internal systems.

The firm was founded with the objective of offering integrated design and execution services under a single framework. Since then, it has worked on assignments for leading institutions such as ICSI, IFCI, FDDI, Vishakhapatnam Port Authority, and multiple Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya campuses across Delhi NCR. Its work spans several regions in India, where it has steadily strengthened its design, engineering, MEP coordination, procurement alignment, and on-site execution processes to deliver projects that meet both functional and aesthetic expectations.

Nitish Kukreja, Founder of Designheed Consultants, conveyed that clients in the present construction and interiors sector seek designs that perform effectively in real-world conditions rather than merely on paper. He noted that each assignment requires disciplined coordination between design, engineering, and site teams to ensure safety, comfort, and long-term value. He added that the firm's philosophy centres on creating spaces that are technically sound, aligned with daily use, and supported by precise project management. With more than 60 projects already completed, he said the team is actively progressing towards exceeding 100 projects by next year while maintaining its focus on context-driven and functional design.

Looking forward, the firm intends to strengthen its presence across both government and private sector assignments by concentrating on practical, sustainable, and requirement-specific design solutions. It aims to build deeper client relationships, explore newer project categories, and continue delivering environments that function effectively in daily use. Alongside its domestic expansion, Designheed is scaling its global presence with ongoing work in the UAE and the US, contributing to projects aligned with emerging international needs.

Several major assignments are currently in progress, including ICSI campuses in Lucknow and Kanpur, corporate interiors for Canara Bank in Gurugram, and institutional interiors for the NDMA Extension Block. The firm is simultaneously working on residential and workplace projects across Delhi NCR. It is also investing in enhanced training systems and strengthening vendor networks to reinforce quality control, accelerate timelines, and support large-scale project delivery.

With its emphasis on execution excellence, structured design integration, and long-term professional partnerships, Designheed Consultants continues to establish strong benchmarks in India's architecture and infrastructure ecosystem. The firm remains committed to delivering reliability, efficiency, and measurable impact through each of its projects.
