Synopsis

Palm Hills Development Company has entered into an agreement with Marriott International to develop a St. Regis-branded project in Cairo under the Palm Hills portfolio. The partnership marks another step in Palm Hills’ strategy to strengthen its presence in the premium and luxury real estate segment, while bringing an internationally recognised hospitality brand to its developments. Marriott’s St. Regis brand is known for high-end residences and hotels globally, and the collaboration is expected to enhance the positioning of the Palm Hills project in Egypt’s competitive real estate and hospitality market.

Palm Hills Development Company SAE has signed an agreement with Marriott International to develop the St. Regis Palm Hills in Cairo, the company said in a disclosure issued in the past week. The project will be developed under the St. Regis brand, which is part of Marriott International’s global portfolio of luxury hospitality and residential offerings.

The agreement reflects Palm Hills’ continued focus on integrating global hospitality brands into its real estate developments. Over the years, the developer has expanded beyond residential communities into mixed-use and lifestyle-led projects, particularly in and around Greater Cairo. Partnering with Marriott allows Palm Hills to leverage international design standards, service benchmarks, and brand recognition associated with the St. Regis name.

Marriott International has been expanding its footprint in Egypt, especially in the luxury and upper-upscale segments, supported by growing demand for branded residences and high-end hospitality assets. The St. Regis brand, known for its focus on bespoke services and premium living experiences, has been used globally to anchor large-scale mixed-use developments.

While Palm Hills did not disclose financial details or timelines related to the project, the announcement signals confidence in long-term demand for luxury real estate in Cairo. The development is expected to add to the city’s evolving skyline and further strengthen the role of branded real estate as a key growth segment within Egypt’s property market.
