The Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) has announced an investment of INR?1?lakh crore over the next ten years for Bharat Future City, a large urban development near Hyderabad. Eric Swider, a Director at TMTG, shared the commitment during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, highlighting that the funds will be directed towards real estate, infrastructure, technology, and other developmental initiatives across the city.

Bharat Future City covers approximately 765 square kilometres and includes 56 villages situated between the Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar highways, around a two-hour drive from central Hyderabad. The project is being overseen by the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) and aims to establish a modern net-zero urban ecosystem with sustainable infrastructure, residential zones, and commercial hubs.

Swider noted India's growing influence in global technology and observed that the country has become a hub for technology capitalists. He added that the government's pro-investment policies played a key role in their decision to invest heavily. The investment is expected to support infrastructure creation, housing development, advanced technology deployment, entertainment and retail sectors, and other large-scale urban projects in Bharat Future City.

During the summit, Telangana attracted additional investment pledges totaling over INR?2.4?lakh crore across sectors such as green energy, defence, aerospace, manufacturing, and logistics. Multiple agreements were signed between corporate groups and the state government, highlighting investor confidence in the region's growth potential.

The development plans also focus on creating a city that integrates modern urban amenities with sustainable practices, aiming to enhance the standard of living and economic opportunities for residents in and around the new city. With TMTG's investment alongside other major commitments, Bharat Future City is positioned to become a landmark urban project in India.
