Synopsis

Transrail Lighting has received new EPC orders worth INR 822 crore covering power transmission, civil works, poles and lighting projects. The package includes a 400 kV transmission-line contract in a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country, marking the company's first project in the region. With these wins, Transrail's order inflow for FY26 has crossed INR 5,110 crore, supported further by an L1 position of over INR 2,000 crore. These developments build on the company's earlier domestic transmission and infrastructure work and strengthen visibility for upcoming quarters.

Transrail Lighting has added new engineering, procurement and construction orders valued at INR 822 crore across its transmission, civil, poles and lighting businesses. The set of orders includes a 400 kV transmission-line project in a Gulf Cooperation Council country, marking the company's entry into the region. This move expands its international reach, as the company has primarily executed transmission and distribution, lighting and infrastructure projects within India in recent years.

The company stated that these orders reinforce its operations across multiple business areas and reflect its ability to take on larger and more diverse assignments. The 400 kV project is expected to support its broader strategy of expanding into markets where long-term demand for power infrastructure remains strong.

With these additions, Transrail's total order inflows for FY26 have crossed INR 5,110 crore. The company also continues to hold an L1 position worth more than INR 2,000 crore, giving further visibility on potential near-term contract conversions. In previous years, the company has maintained a consistent pipeline in the transmission and distribution sector, and the latest developments indicate a continuation of that trend as it enters a new geographical market.
