Synopsis

Rajasthan has set up a six member cabinet sub-committee to monitor and implement the Land Allotment Policy 2025. The panel includes senior ministers such as the Deputy Chief Minister, Revenue Minister, and Urban Development Minister of State. Its role is to review requests for exemptions and relaxations under the policy and submit recommendations to the Chief Minister. The Urban Development Department will handle administrative functions. This initiative builds on the state's earlier steps to simplify land allotment for industrial parks, aiming to encourage real investments while maintaining proper oversight and transparency.

The Rajasthan government has formed a six?member cabinet sub?committee to ensure proper implementation of the Rajasthan Land Allotment Policy?2025. The committee includes Deputy Chief Minister Shri Prem Chand Bairwa, Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, School Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, and Urban Development and Local Self Government Minister of State (Independent Charge) Jhabar Singh Kharra.

The committee's primary role is to examine proposals seeking exemptions or relaxations under the new policy and forward its recommendations to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma for approval. The Urban Development Department will handle administrative matters, with its principal secretary acting as the member secretary of the panel.

This move aligns with the state's earlier efforts to simplify land allotment procedures, especially for industrial parks, aiming to attract real investments rather than just agreements or MoUs. The policy is expected to provide clarity on land allotment rules, streamline approvals, and make the process more transparent for investors and developers.
