Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering & Infrastructures (MEIL) has secured a USD 225.5 million contract from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to build, operate, and manage a gas sweetening and sulphur recovery facility in Kuwait. The project will handle sour gas at around 120 million standard cubic feet per day, with completion in 790 days and a subsequent five-year operation and maintenance period. KOC also holds an option to buy back the facility. The order reflects MEIL's ongoing efforts to expand its footprint in the Middle East, complementing its past international projects.

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Hyderabad, the company has steadily expanded its presence in the Middle East, focusing on delivering complex engineering, procurement, and construction solutions.
