Several stretches are earmarked for redevelopment, including corridors between Sherpur Chowk and Jagraon Bridge, Fountain Chowk to Bharat Nagar Chowk, and the road outside the DMC Hospital, among others. The minister emphasised that all responsible agencies have been urged to adhere strictly to timelines, and that residents may soon witness marked enhancements in road quality and infrastructure.
Senior officials from the state's development commission, the municipal corporation, police, public works department and road safety bodies attended the meeting, underscoring the coordinated approach being adopted.
