Recently, two new terminals were inaugurated at Mattancherry and Willingdon Island, constructed at a cost of INR 38 crore. These terminals are fully water-based, designed to minimize environmental impact, preserve local greenery, and maintain the heritage of the surrounding areas. With this expansion, the Water Metro network now has 12 operational stations across Kochi, strengthening connectivity between islands and the mainland.
