Juniper Green Energy has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 50 MW wind energy project in Gujarat. The agreement was executed through its subsidiary Juniper Green BESS Delta and confirms the company's plan to develop the project in the state.


The PPA, signed earlier this week, will remain valid for 25 years. The project is scheduled to start supplying power from November 6, 2027. Juniper Green Energy said the agreement reflects its long-term commitment to renewable energy. The wind project will support Gujarat?s clean energy initiatives and contribute to the state?s renewable energy capacity.

The move also highlights the role of private companies in strengthening India?s sustainable power infrastructure. By entering a long-term PPA, Juniper Green Energy ensures a steady revenue stream while helping meet the growing demand for green power in Gujarat.
