Synopsis

Aadhar Housing Finance recorded a notable increase in profit and revenue during the September quarter, reflecting sustained growth in its mortgage lending operations. The company reported a 17 per cent rise in net profit to INR 266 crore compared to the corresponding period last year. Total income and interest income also registered steady growth, alongside a marginal uptick in total expenses. Despite a slight deterioration in asset quality, the company's financial performance during the past quarter underscored continued operational strength in India's housing finance sector.

Aadhar Housing Finance announced earlier this week that its profit for the September quarter rose by 17 per cent, reaching INR 266 crore. The mortgage lender had posted a net profit of INR 228 crore during the same quarter a year earlier.

According to its regulatory filing, total income for the quarter climbed to INR 899 crore, compared to INR 764 crore in the corresponding period last year. The housing finance company also reported that its interest income grew to INR 799 crore, up from INR 663 crore a year ago.

However, total expenses also saw an increase, rising to INR 557 crore from INR 472 crore in the second quarter of the previous year. In terms of asset quality, the company witnessed a slight deterioration, with gross non-performing assets increasing to 1.42 per cent at the end of September 2025, as against 1.29 per cent recorded a year earlier.

Aadhar Housing Finance's latest quarterly results indicated consistent revenue and profit growth despite marginal pressure on asset quality. The increase in income and interest earnings reflected strong lending operations, while the rise in expenses suggested expanding business activity. Although the gross NPA ratio showed a minor uptick, the company maintained overall stability in its financial performance. The results reinforced Aadhar Housing Finance's position as one of the key players in the housing finance sector, sustaining profitability in a competitive market environment.
